Sean Sullivan practices in the area of land use, municipal planning and zoning, and civil litigation.
Prior to joining Brown Jacobson, Mr. Sullivan served as a career submarine officer in the United States Navy. His many deployments included one in support of the first Gulf War and he commanded the USS Jefferson City, a Los Angeles class attack submarine. On shore, he served in Washington, D.C. at the Navy’s Office of Legislative Affairs and for his last Navy assignment, Mr. Sullivan commanded the Naval Submarine Base in Groton. He retired from the Navy in August of 2006.
Mr. Sullivan serves on the Board of Trustees of the Ledyard Education and Advancement Foundation, the Facility Committee of the Ledyard Board of Education, and the Military Affairs Committee of the Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce. In the past, he chaired a Ledyard Town Committee responsible for renovating Ledyard High School, and served on the Governor’s Commission for the Economic Diversification of Southeastern Connecticut. He is an active member of the Ledyard Rotary Club.
